Person-centred Integrative therapy

At the centre of my approach is the awareness that you are a unique individual with your own way of expressing yourself and your own needs from counselling .

I can bring a wide variety of therapeutic techniques, approaches and skills to our sessions but you are the only expert on yourself, and we will work together to discover the right way that counselling can work for you.

Here is a selection of some of the approaches I can integrate into our sessions.

Anxiety Therapy

Neuro diverse awareness

Anxiety Therapy

We all share the experience of anxiety from time to time. When it becomes severe, overwhelming or constant it can have a negative effect on our lives. Whilst each individual feels anxiety in their own way there are many well established and practiced methods of identifying, managing and alleviating its causes and effects. Learning to manage our anxiety is a challenging yet deeply rewarding and empowering process, often leading to renewed  feelings of ownership and autonomy over our lives and hope for the future.

Eco Therapy

Anxiety Therapy

Eco therapy is based in the approach that all things are connected in nature. We do not exist in a vacuum separate from everything around us, and in fact we as individuals can be viewed as complex systems in our own right. Combining deep self-exploration with nature-based activities such as walk and talk therapy or forest bathing, Eco Therapy exists outside of the conventional therapy room.

Through Eco-therapy we can grow our awareness of our sense of  balance within ourselves and sense of belonging in the world.

Neuro diverse awareness

More and  more people explore, self-identify or seek out diagnosis for ADHD, ASD and other neuro-diversities. This has  highlighted the need for therapists to tailor their approach to their clients with an awareness of the particular challenges and differences in communication styles across the varied spectrums of neuro-diversity.Together we can work  to ensure that your individual needs are recognised and validated, and to create the safe and supportive space for positive mental health to thrive.

Transpersonal therapy

Transpersonal therapy

Neuro diverse awareness

When we feel disconnected from the world and stuck inside our own thoughts it can be lonely and isolating. Transpersonal therapy explores our experience of the connection between ourselves and the greater universe. Integrating aspects of spirituality, shamanism, synchronicity, energy work and the greater mysteries of life, we can

co-create a more balanced, healing and whole sense of self.

Mens mental health

Transpersonal therapy

Mens mental health

As men in our culture  we all feel some form of pressure to constantly project strength, capability and self-sufficiency, often at the cost of our own needs or even health. This can make it difficult to develop the tools we need to release negative patterns of shame, insecurity and overwhelm. Working from a position of respect for our strength and autonomy with an acceptance for the need for self-compassion and understanding, we can start to build the healthy, productive and genuine sense of self we all deserve.

Geek therapy

Transpersonal therapy

Mens mental health

We all have times when it’s hard to identify or describe our emotions, when we struggle to express ourselves and our needs. Geek therapy centres on the idea that our favourite movies, shows, games, books, comics and other media can often provide examples or metaphors for how we feel, the challenges we face or what our ideal life could look like. This work is both positive and empowering as it can provide us with a ready-made personal framework for self-exploration and healing.
